Our services
Optimise Your Business Goals and Objectives
Xeed Marketing provides an ‘in sourced’ marketing management service for growing SMEs and entrepreneurial businesses which lack the necessary resources or expertise to implement a successful marketing strategy.
We bring experienced marketing managers into our clients’ companies so they get to know the business inside out. When they can tell your story effectively and accurately, they can better implement and manage successful campaigns.
Our marketing managers are experienced in everything from creative design and social media to PR and digital communications, and have access to a wealth of specialist marketing services suppliers – we can always find the right people for the job.
Business Roadmaps Built Exactly To Your Needs
We work with any organisation that takes marketing seriously, but our sweet spot is growing SMEs and entrepreneurs aiming to take their business to a new level, possibly seeking future investment or sale.
When business leaders are consumed by balancing strategy with operational needs, they can’t dedicate the time and effort to create and implement effective campaigns. Our marketing managers do this for you, so you don’t need to invest in full time teams until the time is right – and which point we’ll even help you recruit them.
Good marketing makes a big difference – give us the business challenge and we will design and implement the marketing plan.

How we work with clients
STAGE ONE
Deep immersion
On appointment we begin the business discovery process which we call ‘Deep Immersion’. This is the critical learning period which will enable us to make better informed decisions about how best to market your business. We estimate this work will take between 5-10 days, and it includes:
Analysing your markets
Understanding your growth strategy
Meeting key people
Understanding your sales strategy and processes
STAGE TWO
Planning phase
After the ‘Deep Immersion’ period we begin the planning phase of the marketing campaign. We estimate this period will take 5-10 days, and we will define the brief and work on the following:
Budget definition
Campaign plan
Supplier identification and selection
Timescales and key milestones
Measurables and expected ROI
STAGE THREE
Making in happen
The next phase is when our marketing managers and external suppliers start to make things happen. During this phase – which may take a month or two – we’ll let the campaign run and make interventions at key stages. On debriefing we will collectively establish whether further work is needed or whether the business can run with what we have done. And if you need us in the future, you’ll know we understand your business.
Campaign launch
Monitoring and evaluation of progress
Amendments and additions
Campaign review and future planning
Business founder –
Roger McKerlie
Although I run a marketing consultancy, I am first and foremost a business person who understands the challenge of growing your own business. In addition to my own operation I sit on the Board of three different organisations advising them on their growth strategies.
Anyone who has ever embarked on the journey of running their own business knows that it offers excitement and fear in equal measure! I hope that the empathy I have with my clients sets Xeed Marketing apart from our competitors.
Marketing, however, can be a huge asset to your business or a frustrating liability that seems only to have cost money and delivered little – how you approach it will dictate the outcome for your business.
SPECIALIST SKILLS
The leadership teams of growing businesses are often too busy running the business to effectively manage a marketing campaign. This is only to be expected. A CEO wouldn’t handle their company’s legal issues (unless they were a lawyer), so why would they get involved in marketing?
So you’ll eventually need to choose specialist suppliers to tackle marketing, but those suppliers will work better when briefed by someone who speaks their language. Translating a business need into a marketing brief is essential, and failure to did this usually results in a failed project.
At Xeed Marketing we take ownership of the project and we make sure we deliver for your business.
